Create a Column Chart in Excel
At Coffee Island which is a chain of coffee shops we have a spreadsheet with weekly takings. In order to show stakeholders what this looks like in a chart format, I need to create a chart.
In this short video tutorial you will learn how to create a columnar chart in Excel. The version on screen is Excel 2010 however Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013 and Excel 2013 all work like this.
Select the text that is to be charted, then from the Insert Ribbon select the type of chart you wish to create. That’s it!
