If you have been reading my blogs, you may well remember that last year I spoke at Office 2014* conference on End Your Outlook Overwhelm.
I am excited to have been invited back this year to speak again. Here is what I will be speaking about:
What is Office 365 and what can it do for me?
Office 365 has been in the news, you can’t open a report on cloud based computing without hearing about Microsoft’s cloud based Office system. You may have also heard the term, The Modern Office.
Office 365 is a suite of programmes that work online and on your computer and allow you to work alone or to collaborate with others within your organisation. Many organisations are moving from the traditional model of an office based Server for storing documents and desktop applications to create them.
Office 365 gives organisations an online server – SharePoint along with a personal storage area OneDrive and both desktop and web applications.
In this session you will learn:
- What Office 365 is
- Which programmes are in the mix
- What the difference is between OneDrive and SharePoint and when to use them
- How to find synchronise your folders to your computer
- See the Office Web Apps in action
