We Passed! Accredited Learning Provider for 4 years in a row!
You may have noticed that I am writing a few more blogs than normal! Well that’s because I entered a 30 day blogging challenge. That is to post one blog a day for 30 days. I started last Friday and today is Day 6!
Today, I thought I would write about the fact that The IT Training Surgery passed its 4th accreditation. We are an Accredited Learning Provider with The Learning and Performance Institute. I am really chuffed about this.
So what! – you might be thinking
Having the Accreditation proves that The IT Training Surgery delivers training to a high standard and that we have in place robust processes to ensure that our clients get the best training and that our Learners really Learn!
We deliver our training at the clients own site. This makes it comfortable for our participants to learn as they are in a familiar environment.
Our trainers have all been delivering Microsoft Office training almost since the dawn of time – computer time that is.
In yesterday’s blog I asked “How do you absorb information?” – The reason for the question was that in our delivery we take account of all the different types of participants and their individual learning needs. We tailor the session for our learners – sometimes even on the fly.
Being an Accredited Learning Provider means having a major assessment once a year and a catch up every quarter to see that we are still performing well and are on a continual spiral of improvement.
Why is Accreditation important to me?
Good question, I’m glad you asked.
There are many IT Trainers and Training Companies to choose from. How do you make that choice? You are going to spend your learning budget with a company and you need to be sure that they can deliver. By choosing an accredited company you take away the angst. You can rest assured that the company can do what they say and some.
I put us through accreditation to show that we are serious about delivering training so that your learners learn.
When you are thinking about training your staff – give us a call. We would love to discuss your organisation’s objectives and required outcomes with you and identify how best we can add value. Call us on 0208 203 1774- we love to talk!

Congratulations! I’m sure you deserve your accreditation and are a good example to others. Teaching and learning are such different things – to help people learn you have to set the right conditions which is not about content but about context.
Thanks Judy – appreciate you taking the time to comment.See tomorrow’s blog – about setting the environment. 🙂
