Microsoft Excel Level 2 – Conditional functions
Who should attend?

Training Requirements
Participants must be using Excel and able to create simple formulae and use absolute cell references, e.g., $C$4.
Aim
By the end of the session, you will be able to use a variety of functions to analyse your data depending on specific criteria, e.g., sum a range of total figures where the data in a country column is equal to “Australia.”
What you will learn
- Understand when to use partial absolute referencing in formulas, e.g., $B4 or B$4
- Create an IF() statement to test for a condition and return one of two answers
- Use a nested IF() to test for multiple conditions and return multiple answers
- Combine AND() and OR() statements with an IF() to test for two or more conditions

Microsoft Excel Level 2 – Working with worksheets and files
Who should attend?
This course is for everyone who uses Excel and needs to manipulate multiple worksheets or workbooks.
Training Requirements
Participants must be confident users of Excel and able to create simple formulae and use absolute cell references, e.g., $C$4.
Aim
By the end of the session, you will be familiar with a variety of worksheet options, e.g., consolidating data from more than one worksheet.
What you will learn
- Quickly insert, delete, hide, move and copy worksheets
- Select multiple worksheets (group) to make quick changes on all worksheets
- Create formulas between more than one worksheet, e.g., summing across more than one worksheet

What you will learn
- Preparation of data – Format as a Table option
- Using structured references to create calculations in a table
- Working with the Total row, e.g., creation of differing subtotals
- Applying slicers to a Table and a Pivot Table
