How to edit a document on-line in Office 365
Let me set the scene. You are out of the office. Perhaps you need to show a document to someone or you have a PowerPoint presentation that needs a quick edit. There is no time to open the original make the changes and save back to your OneDrive or SharePoint site.
Open the document ( Word document, PowerPoint presentation or Spreadsheet) from your OneDrive or SharePoint folder and select Edit in Word Online ( or PowerPoint or Excel!). The document will open in the Web App online editor and away you go. Make your simple changes and they are saved automatically. Now you can go ahead and print, or make that presentation secure in the knowledge that the changes were saved.
