How to make a workbook a favourite

Do you have a selection of Excel workbooks that you need to work with frequently? Do you spend time finding those workbooks you need to open and wishing there was an easier way?

Help is at hand

In Office 365 and in Office 2013 separately, you can pin a workbook, document or presentation to the top of the recent items list. That way it is always there at the click of a button.

You can also add a number of recently opened files to the backstage menu itself.
