Quick Tip for Microsoft Word 2010

Microsoft Word 2010 allows you to insert an image from another active document or program on your computer. You can insert screenshots from other windows quite easily. Helpful if you need to show someone what is happening on  your screen.

To Insert a Screenshot

  1. Open the other document or program
  2. Go to Word 2010
  3. Click into the text where you would like the screenshot to appear
  4. Go to the Insert tab on the ribbon
  5. Go to the Illustrations group
  6. Click on Screenshot (1)
  7. Select the Available Window you want to insert (2)
