The last day of the 30 day blog challenge

30 day blog challengeDay 30 – the last day of the challenge!

Well here it is, the last blog in the 30 day blog challenge. I did it! Well almost. The challenge was to post a blog on every day for 30 consecutive days. I have posted 30 blogs, however not every day. I missed out a few on weekends and some on the Jewish Holidays.

So what do I take away from this challenge?

Planning

As with everything planning is vital. Having a plan ensures that the execution is smoother. Rather than sit down to work out what to write each day, by having a plan that has been taken care of. With a topic planned and a headline created the content flows more easily.

Scheduling

I run a training company as you know, and not only do I have the business to run, I also deliver training myself, work on new course development, speak to new clients and much more. So having several blogs written and scheduled ahead made my life much easier. Sitting down to write 5 blogs in one go, meant that the writing juices were flowing and the inspiration came more quickly. Then having scheduled the five blogs, I had space to do everything else without thinking of the blog.

Support

This particular challenge came with some great support. It was initiated by Sarah Arrow of Sarkemedia and each day a new email arrived in my inbox with some tips and suggestions of what to do and how to do it. Not only that, there is a Facebook group too with lots of great people all participating and supporting each other.

Perseverance

Most important of all – perseverance and determination. I was determined to finish the challenge and get my 30 blogs out there.

So what next?

Well the blogging will continue. First of all there is the Friday tip – this is a How To tip which surprisingly will be published every Friday. Keep an eye out for them – they are very useful!

There will be more guest blogs, and I will continue to blog once or twice a week – not every day!

Which of the last 30 blogs has been your favourite? Which has resonated with you? Is there anything you would like me to write about that I may not have thought of? Do let me know as this blog is written for you my readers.

Do leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts and if you like a particular blog, share it with your networks.

Till next time..

Congratulations on making it to day 30. It must feel so great to cross the finish line.

I also completed 30 days of blogging. Now I am doing it all again but this time I am concentrating my efforts on just one blog.

The question now is – what will you do with all that spare time when you are not writing 5 blogs at a time for the challenge? lol

Thank you Victoria and well done to you and good luck with the new challenge. The challenge does give a structure 🙂
As to writing 5 blogs at a time, I will still do so, however they will be scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays with the tips on Fridays. No such thing as spare time!

Well done Shelley! Today is day 30 for me of my own blogging challenge and I have to say I feel the same as you. I think it’s been great and also plan to carry on blogging, though probaby every 2 or 3 days rather than daily. Glad you’ve enjoyed the process and look forward to seeing how you continue to progress things with your blog.
